Homestake Creek in Colorado, U.S.A.

Fighting the proposed “Homestake III Dam Project” and protecting Homestake Creek in Eagle County, Colorado,  is a primary project of Save The Colorado, which is leading a coalition of NGOs as well against the project. Homestake Creek abuts the Holy Cross Wilderness Area, flows into the Eagle River which then flows into the Colorado River downstream. In the coming months, the Homestake battle will likely head to the courts with Save The Colorado leading the charge.
