In 2017, Gary Wockner led the effort to create and support the Rio Grande Waterkeeper along with Jen Pelz of WildEarth Guardians. Gary went on the inaugural Rio Grande Waterkeeper raft trip with Jen and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Gary continues to work with the Rio Grande Waterkeeper to support their work to protect and restore the Rio Grande.
