In 2016, Gary Wockner traveled to Idaho, on behalf of the Waterkeeper Alliance, to take part in the “Free The Snake” rally, a river trip promoting the removal of the dams on the Snake River. Gary wrote a story titled, “Free The Snake River, Remove The Dams“, which appeared on Waterkeeper website. Gary continues to stay in touch with advocates working the Free The Snake, as well as help promotes the removal of the Snake River dams.
