Our parent organization, Save The Colorado, has led the fight to highlight the continued and disastrous proposal called the “Yampa River Pumpback” which would drain tens-of-thousands of acre feet of water out of the Yampa every year and pump/pipe it to the Front Range sprawling metropolis of Colorado.

We were the ONLY group to discuss how the Colorado Water Plan kept this proposal alive, and we will continue to actively fight it. See our press release here.
